Nym the Elven Bard and Mud the Tabaxi Monk were exploring Astral Space when Nym was charged with picking up the food. He bought nothing but beans. Partly as a joke, but also because they knew they were being followed and time was short. The two had to leave before Mud had the time to get anything besides beans.

After nearly going mad from meat starvation, the boat was attacked by pirates. Rather than letting Mud eat the bodies, Nym used his 10 foot pole to push the bodies far enough off the boat to where they would drift away. It's still unclear if they're cool.
